CasasPuraVida began as little more than a dream & a vacant parcel of land in 2003. Our mission is to offer private, well built, clean & comfortable houses with everything necessary to enjoy quality vacation time with your family and friends.
This is an ongoing project, and every year we continue to make improvements to our infrastructure, houses and gardens. We are committed to becoming as sustainable & community friendly as possible. Our employees are100% local (born & raised) help & we use local products & suppliers whenever possible.
We also recently installed a much improved rain catch system, solar hot water heater, state of the art water filtration & sanitation systems, to guarantee water quality, an elaborate water recycle system for gardening & use biodegradable products, as much as possible to clean & maintain our houses.
Costa Rica boasts that over 90 of its energy comes from renewable resources such as hydroelectric. In dry years (& especially during dry season) this poses a threat of shortages due to growing demand for electricity. It also comes at a kilowatt cost almost 4 times that of the United States.
However, we can not do it all alone & request your help in managing these precious & scarce natural resources such as water & electricity.
CasasPuraVida’s commitment to improve the quality of life of our employees & growing town extends beyond our gates, as we are involved in various community projects as the recycle program, monthly beach clean-ups, education programs in the public school, public water, roads and security issues.
